TD 5 BORO BIKE TOUR

As a Charity Partner in the NYC TD Five Boro Bike Tour, James Lenox House Association relies on this race as one of its fundraising sources. On Sunday, May 1, cyclists of all skill levels will come from around the world to roll through every borough of New York City on streets totally free of cars. For one day, the roads are yours, the bridges are yours, the City is yours—there’s no better way to experience NYC.

Over the past 2 years, we've had to adapt to the pandemic, while also safeguarding the lives of the most vulnerable population, older adults. But, the biggest challenge we have faced has been funding. We are very grateful to Bike New York for selecting as a Charity Partner for the 2022 TD Five Boro Bike Tour, which allows us the opportunity to have bikers represent our organization and raise the much-needed funds to continue providing safe and affordable housing for older adults in New York City! 

To join: Each biker will have their own fundraising page to raise money for James Lenox House and Carnegie East House throughout their biking journey. They can personalize their photos and stories to share why they are riding. It could be to honor someone's memory or simply to raise awareness of the difficulties that our older adult population faced over the past 2 years.
